Our team of highly trained and compassionate professionals offers individualized ABA therapy sessions that focus on your child's unique goals and aspirations. We prioritize their comfort and agency, ensuring that the therapy sessions are enjoyable, engaging, and effective. After an initial assessment a treatment plan will be developed and agreed upon by the child’s caregivers and therapist. The child can then receive one on one behavior therapy based on their specific needs. Direct therapy can include play based therapy to support language and play skill acquisition, natural environment teaching to support daily living skills and direction following, feeding therapy, toilet training, or gentle sleep support. Every 6 months the child will be re-evaluated to ensure appropriate behavior changes are made.
We provide comprehensive support and resources to empower families, equipping them with the tools and knowledge to support their child's development at home and in everyday life. Through a collaborative relationship we will work towards creating a more positive home environment where all of your child can participate in family routines and enjoy playing together. Parent training will also provide the team with opportunities to collaborate with your child’s entire team including their occupational therapist, speech therapist, physical therapist and psychiatrist or psychologist.
We offer specialized programs to enhance social skills, helping children build meaningful connections with peers and navigate social situations with confidence and ease. Direct instruction to teach basic social skills is important but practicing these skills with peers is crucial to ensuring true social skills are taught and maintained. Play dates with one or two other children can be arranged to help your child practice appropriate social and play skills. If playdates with people outside of your family are difficult to organize, sessions can be centered around play with the child’s siblings. Sessions can also take place during community events such as sports, birthday parties, or neighborhood get togethers to ensure your child can be a part of their community.
We collaborate closely with a team of dedicated speech therapists, occupational therapists, and physical therapists. This multidisciplinary approach ensures that every aspect of your child's development is addressed comprehensively. Our coordinated efforts result in a holistic and well-rounded support system for your child. Based on the specific needs of your child, school consultation and teacher training can be a part of their behavior therapy programming. This can be especially helpful to ensure behavior therapy strategies are being carried over in all environments. If needed, direct support can be provided in the child’s school to ensure they are able to participate in the least restrictive environment possible.
